The hosts controlled large spells of the match and converted key chances to secure all three points.
The breakthrough came early in the second quarter when Godfrey Tauyatswala struck to put Rollers ahead and settle the momentum in their favor. From there, Rollers dictated tempo through midfield, managing possession and limiting TAFIC’s opportunities on the break. The second goal — a well-timed finish from Omphile Vissage arrived in the 62nd minute and effectively sealed the result.
Defensively, Township Rollers looked solid, cutting off supply lines and showing patience when under pressure. TAFIC produced moments of promise but struggled to create high-value chances in the final third; their threats were largely snuffed out by a disciplined Rollers back line and midfield.
What it means: the win keeps Township Rollers firmly in the mix for a top-table challenge, while TAFIC must regroup and sharpen their attacking output if they are to climb the standings. With the league still young, consistency over the coming weeks will define both clubs’ seasons.
