Jwaneng Galaxy put on a controlled, clinical display at Galaxy Stadium on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, running out 3–0 winners over Orapa United to send the home crowd home happy. Onkabetse Makgantai opened the scoring just after the hour, Neo Mokhachane followed up with a quickfire second in the 56th minute and veteran Thabang Sesinyi wrapped matters up deep in stoppage time to make it 3–0.
Tactically it was a polished performance from Galaxy: they dominated the middle third, forced turnovers and translated pressure into clear chances in the second half. Orapa, compact early, were undone by precise finishing and a lack of cutting creativity once Galaxy turned the screw after the break. The three-goal cushion allowed Galaxy to manage the tempo late on while Orapa were left searching for a spark that never came.
The result cements Galaxy’s strong start to the campaign and will boost confidence ahead of a tricky run of fixtures; for Orapa United it’s a reminder of the defensive and creative areas that need immediate attention if they’re to climb the table.
