Jwaneng Galaxy roared into the new FNB Premiership campaign with an emphatic 3-0 home win over Morupule Wanderers at Galaxy Stadium. The hosts were in control throughout, with midfielder Thabang Sesinyi opening the scoring and defender Dynamo Fredericks doubling the lead in the second half before Neo Mokhachane added a third goal to complete the rout. The Galaxy’s all-round performance aggressive attack and rock-solid defense, signaled their title intent early.
From the first whistle, Galaxy pressed hard. Sesinyi’s breakthrough strike gave them the lead and a boost in confidence. Morupule Wanderers rarely threatened in reply as Galaxy extended the advantage after halftime. Fredericks hammered in a second goal to firmly put the game out of reach, and Mokhachane wrapped up the scoring late on. Each goal underscored Galaxy’s strength: by game’s end the Wanderers had trailed 3-0 with no reply.
The victory puts Jwaneng Galaxy top of the table after Week 1 (3 points, +3 goal difference). Morupule Wanderers, by contrast, sit bottom without a goal. Coach Morena Ramoreboli will be pleased with the statement win as Galaxy look ahead to their next fixture. The 3-0 result and clean sheet give Galaxy momentum and belief that they can sustain a title challenge all season.
